MS is bittersweet
Sigh. I’ve had this disease a long time and am thankful that it is not life-threatening to me right now. But sadly I have had to give up some things.

MSer in a heat wave
Many MSers experience a temporary worsening of symptoms when the weather is very hot, or really anytime their core body temperature rises even one-quarter of a degree.

Where I live
When I was diagnosed, I was counseled to go home and make plans to be in a wheelchair. Wow.

I’m not bringing this up to encourage pity or sympathy. I’m trying to examine and explain it logically and with detachment.

Would I have done anything more or differently years ago if I had known for sure that my health would decline?

Overcast is good
Even as California has had record-breaking heat and some out of control brush fires, where I live has been overcast and socked in by heavy fog, which is good for me physically but not emotionally.
